Such grand sculptural architectural detail. The photographer has captured the image when the sun's angle casts superlative shadows underscoring the massive scale and depth of the carvings. Against the faded cream of the outer walls, the backs of two pedestrians wearing head to toe black traditional religious garb approach the embossed doorway. The humans seem shadows cut as if silhouettes out of the light colored stone. What could be within to entice anyone to enter rather than remain to observe this portal from the street. A wonderful mirror of the trinity type shape of the arch above the door is echoed by the triangular shape formed between the two pedestrians and the plaque to the right of the entrance equidistant above their heads Arches and arches. Mysteriously, the image exudes a sense of immediacy and modernity despite being composed of only antique and traditional elements.
