Richman To Exhibit At Johnson And Johnson Corporate Art Gallery

The Johnson and Johnson Corporate Art Gallery in New Brunswick, New Jersey will feature Humanity and the City--a series of black and white images by Steven Richman. The urban photographs will be exhibited from January 31, 2017 through March 17, 2017. As part of its community outreach in New Jersey, Johnson and Johnson is committed to social, environmental and cultural programs that improve the livability of communities. Richman In Phillips Mill 2013 Photography Exhibit

Steven Richman had two photographs accepted into the 2013 Phillips Mill Photographic Exhibition. The Phillips Mill Photographic Exhibition’s show for 2013 will be open from March 10th to March 31st. The show opens Sunday, March 10, 1-5 p.m. and closes on March 31. Hours are 1-5 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday; 1-9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Approximately 1000 images were presented and 15% were accepted into the show. One of the images,m Toronto, shown here.

Steven Richman's image, Copenhagen, has been accepted into the Monmouth Museum's 33rd Annual Juried Exhibition. The exhibit will run from January 13, 2012 into February.

New Jersey State Museum Acquires Richman Photograph

The New Jersey State Museum in December 2010 acquired Steven Richman's photograph, "Buenos Aires," for its fine art collection. The image was one of those appearing in the 2010 New Jersey Fine Arts Annual that was hosted at the New Jersey State Museum. The theme of the 2010 exhibition was Artifice and Reality. The image contrasts the conscious and unconscious world of spirituality. This was the first digital image collected by the museum.

Steven Richman's newest book, Reconsidering Trenton: The Small City in Post-Industrial America, has been published by and is now available for order on many on-line sites or from the publisher directly, McFarland Publishing. The book is a series of reflective thematic essays on aspects of city existence, focusing on the small, former industrial city in the post-industrial world of the 21st century. The book is amply illustrated by Richman's photography.
