About Steven Richman
Steven Richman is an attorney practicing in New Jersey. He has lectured before photography clubs on various topics, including the legal rights of photographers. His photography has been exhibited in museums, is in private collections, and is also represented in the permanent collection of the New Jersey State Museum. He is the author of four photography books: The Bridges of New Jersey (Rutgers University Press), Mannequins (Schiffer Books), The Great Swamp (Schiffer Books) and Reconsidering Trenton (McFarland Publishers). Simply delicious minimalist composition. Fascinating pattern composed by shadow of side of steps and single rail as textural contrast highlight against subtle almost emptiness. Can't stop staring at it ..!!! (The stairs form an almost textural version of a zip allowing the composition to remain monochromatic). Another incredible image . .. . blown away.
