The ruins seem arranged just so . .. for the most poetic view . . .fantastic sense of space and perspective. . . the cumbling wall in foreground close enough to touch or lean on, then the outlines of the walls in mid-ground, then the single standing manor-style house in distance . . . then the sky and sky melding in th far distance with hints of a distant city as tiny specks of blue on blue upon the opposite coast. Fantastic pop of rich color in the single orange roof . . .clouds in layers of slate and blue with hints of light above . ..
