About Steven Richman
Steven M. Richman is a summa cum laude graduate of Drew University and cum laude graduate of New York University Law School, where he served on The Annual Survey of American Law and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. An active photographer, he has spoken before photography clubs on various topics, including legal rights of photographers. He is President of the board of the New Jersey State Museum. Professionally, he practices international and commercial law, and holds leadership positions within the International Bar Association and the American Bar Association, and is first vice-president of the New Jersey State Bar Foundation. Within the ABA, he serves as a member of its House of Delegates. He is a member of the New Jersey Law Journal editorial board, the New Jersey District Export Council and is a member of the ABA's Central Europe and Eurasian Law Initiative (CEELI) Council.
He is the author of four photography books: The Bridges of New Jersey (Rutgers University Press), Mannequins (Schiffer Books), The Great Swamp (Schiffer Books) and Reconsidering Trenton (McFarland Publishers). He is also the author of The Photography Law Handbook, published in August 2104 by the American Bar Association.
